About Me

My name is Amanda Gow and I am 21 years old. I am a senior this year, probably like most of the rest of the class, and I cannot wait to graduate! I started out college wanting to become a pharmacist, but quickly realized that science was not my thing, so I switched my major to Tourism Development and Management. I chose this major because I enjoy traveling, but I still have no idea about what I want to do for my career. I have already traveled inside and outside of the country quite a bit, but I am hoping to get a career that will enable me to travel on a more regular basis to different places. I currently work at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in their coffee shop. It is fun experiencing tourism and meeting people from all over the world by working at a nice resort! A few random things about me are that I am obsessed with chocolate, animals, summertime, the 1950’s, and murder mystery (scary, cheesy, slasher) movies and books.
